OMG- Another version of Rays Volk Racing TE37 and CE28N!!
I simply cannot believe it! After god knows how many years this two designs made their debut and countless limited editions, RAYS have launched another series of same ol' same ol'. It's like eating nasi lemak only with different sambals! (Malaysian iconic food and chilli paste) I really wonder if their R&D department has gone on a longgg vacation break or their forged wheel molding factory simply overproduced these evergreen designs and couldn't think of an excuse to kill the design.
It's sometimes hard to justify a nicer and better designs than these two, and simply as 'profitable' iconic patterns, that really put RAYS on the aftermarket map. Look at their VIP and Offroad wheels, utter shame in terms of iconic designs and sales volume in comparison to the Volk Racing performance line.
However, hold your breath, this may (err..maybe not) the last incarnation of TE37 with the initials SL and CE28N "Genesis". Since both are only available in 17 and 18staggered sizes and mono color (what you see is what you get), the target is simply the superstreet jap performance cars thats so prevalent on the streets today.

Those crazy Indons......
I know I have been very guilty of not updating this blog lately...too much commitments and too little time. Anyways, I finally found a good topic and reason for update and it to highlight the Honda CRV 2009 model as shown below with a very well done color coordinations and massive 22's. You see, as I myself have a daily driven CRV with 18's on 225/50-18 which is bone jarring enough when going through potholes, I cannot imagine the ride on this beauty..(maybe I am getting old!)
Truth said, with the final effects of having a set of 22's, rubber band like tyres (I know Indonesia produces some very good quality tyres and highly affordable too) coupled with a full set of bodykit, this ride just looks awesome. I am not surprised too if I find a different gender cruising it on uptown Jakarta, a real low-rider 5mph cruising mod scene.
